Quote of the week - April 24th

Long time since posting, life has taken some very sharp turns. I ended up in a maze of twisty passages, only I couldn't tell if they were alike or different. So, I start a new feature - quote of the week. Most of the time, these will be related to sports. The first is a classic, even if it is for a sport most Americans don't appreciate - cricket.

In 1976, British television viewers joined an England-West Indies cricket match at the Oval in the middle of an over. Michael Holding was bowling to Peter Willey. Noted commentator Brian Johnston helpfully described the scene: "The bowler's Holding," he observed, "the batsman's Willey." The picture to the left is in honor of Michael Holding, the bowler.
